We were invited for a day of snowboarding in Schladming, Austria. Just a short 1.5 hour flight from Rotterdam to Salzburg, and about an hours drive south to Schladming.

We had dinner in a cozy restaurant in Stainach before checking into our hotel in Schladming. I couldn’t wait to see the view from the room at sunrise, in the evening it was left to our imagination. The view did not disappoint, we could see the slopes of Planai where we were headed for the day!

After a short but sweet ride down a few slopes we stopped for the most important part of any snow-day: apres-ski!

The way down back into town was not as smooth as we had hoped, the slopes were pure ice and the drinks weren’t helping. But we made it down in one piece! We weren’t the only ones rolling down the hill, or to be honest, in our group I was the only one 😉
