I just got back from a weekend in Finland! Time always goes by too quickly, but I’m feeling fully refreshed and calm after spending time in both Helsinki and the countryside in Muurame.

Morning coffees by the fireplace, waiting for the sun to clear the fog after chilly nights.

Dog walks & fresh air.

Preparing the garden for the first frosts, digging up dahlia bulbs and covering some garden beds with foliage.

Sauna sessions at sunset.

Late night barbecueing and staring at the stars.
Cheering on the Ryder Cup and sometimes not even daring to watch. It doesn’t really matter how long I go, the instant I’m in the middle of all the nature there my mind resets.

My last night turned into dinner in Helsinki at my sister’s house, the perfect closure to a slow weekend.

Clouds on the flight home were 10/10.
